DH Dallas is out of the *Naborr daughter, Borrneyna. Borrneyna was shown with her 1/2 brother Kaborr+++ by David Boggs at the Salon Du Cheval-Paris World Championship Show (the article is in the Arabian Horse World march 1980). Kaborr+++ was crowned World Champion of Europe and Borrneyna placed in her class of mares 7yrs and older – 3rd.

DH Dallas had a very old world style kind of build, a very durable built body to withstand any kind of task. You could swear you just saw him walk out from behind a pyramid!  Dallas' head was very classic, large kind black liquid eyes, large nostrils that you could fit your fist in, and short well placed ears. Everything about him just screamed Classic Arabian.  His hair was almost as if it were from fine well spun silk, and in the sunlight his body gave off a metalic sheen. Dallas also had very large hooves and large joints, everything a desert horse should be.

While he stood here at Desert Souvenir, Dallas knew this was his kingdom, and walked around with a very regal strut about him. Even so, he was the kindest most gentlest horse to ever grace our farm. He would wait patiently every morning to be let out into his pasture to play and survey his harem and make sure nothing was out of place. In the evening he waited ever so patiently to be given his evening meal and bedded down for the night, just as a king should be treated.

Dallas was trained and ridden in Western Pleasure as well as English. Dallas was even trained for driving. His show record shows exactly how serious he took his job and how much he aimed to please. Such a wonderful stallion is so very hard to replace. He will be greatly missed and there will be a large void in our lives without him here. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful sons and one elegant daughter to carry on the legacy of DH Dallas at Desert Souvenir Arabians. May he rest in peace and run the fields on the other side of the rainbow bridge to his heart's content.

This is a life size bronze sculpture of the World Champion Polish stallion *Bask++, the sire of our beloved late stallion DH Dallas. This statue is in the lobby of the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Kentucky USA, where *Bask++ is also buried in Champion Cemetery.
